Is the SAVE plan still available in 2025?
Quick Answer
No. As of 2025, the SAVE plan is enjoined by an 8th Circuit court order. Existing borrowers are parked in interest-free administrative forbearance, but new SAVE enrollment is blocked and forbearance months do not count toward PSLF or IDR forgiveness.
